LINCORE® 15CRMN Flux-Cored Self-Shielded Wire designed for spreader cones, crusher hammers and austenitic manganese parts applications and can be used as a build-up layer before capping with abrasion resistant alloys (Build Up and Joining)

DETAILS

LINCORE® 15CRMN provides an austenitic manganese deposit which exhibits very good crack resistance ideal for open arc mode for joining austenitic manganese steel to carbon steel, low alloy steel, austenitic manganese steel, or stainless steel offers unlimited layers with proper preheat and interpass temperatures and procedures.

NOTES

Note
As with all austenitic manganese welding products, interpass temperatures should be limited to 260°C (500°F) maximum.
A stringer bead, or at most, a slight weave is recommended to limit heat build-up. Excessive heat build-up causes manganese carbide precipitation that damages the toughness of austenitic manganese.
