DETAILS
WEARSHIELD® ME stick electrode is ideal for abrasion hardfacing applications needing chrome carbides and austenite. Typical applications include Muller tires, augers, bucket teeth and dozer blades. It can only be welded in the flat and horizontal position.
Features
- High alloy produces chrome carbides and austenite
- Provides greater abrasion resistance than Wearshield® ABR or Wearshield® 44
- Low dilution weld metal provides eutectic mix of chromium carbides and austenite, with limited primary carbides.
- To be used on carbon and low alloy, austenitic manganese and austenitic stainless steels
