OUTERSHIELD MC420N-H

The weld metal can withstand a normalizing heat treatment (900°C/4H) and still comply with the minimum mechanical requirements of S355 material grades. This wire provides significant value for welded parts such as flanges or pressure vessel heads that need a normalizing heat treatment after a high level of plastic deformation. When using this wire, welding can be executed prior to the normalization treatment and thus, the additional PWHT is avoided.
