DETAILS

SuperGlaze® 5183 Aluminum Magnesium Manganese alloy is commonly used for higher strength welding of 5XXX and 6XXX base materials. Higher strength and superior salt water corrosion resistance with common shipbuilding base materials compared to 5356.

  • Provides very high as-welded strength for high magnesium alloys such as 5083
