SuperGlaze® 5556 Aluminum Magnesium Manganese alloy gives the highest as-welded strengths in fillets. It is commonly used for welding high strength base materials like 5083 and provides good strength on 6XXX base materials.

- Provides higher tensile strengths for welding of higher strength 5XXX alloys
- Increased amounts of magnesium and manganese for excellent corrosion resistance
- High columnar strength
- Not recommended for prolonged elevated service temperatures (150F)
