SuperGlaze® 5556 gives the highest as-welded strengths in fillets for high strength base materials

Détails

SuperGlaze® 5556 Aluminum Magnesium Manganese alloy gives the highest as-welded strengths in fillets. It is commonly used for welding high strength base materials like 5083 and provides good strength on 6XXX base materials.

Traits

  • Provides higher tensile strengths for welding of higher strength 5XXX alloys
  • Increased amounts of magnesium and manganese for excellent corrosion resistance
  • High columnar strength
  • Not recommended for prolonged elevated service temperatures (150F)
