Conçu pour les applications à haute résistance et faiblement alliées utilisant 75 % d'argon/25 % de CO2. L'utilisation de gaz de protection mélangés stabilise les caractéristiques de l'arc, réduit les niveaux d’éclaboussures et lave le cordon de soudure pour lui donner un aspect plat.

- Capable de produire des dépôts de soudure avec une ténacité à l'impact supérieure à 88 J à 123 J (88,13 à 123,38 N · m/65 à 91 pi·lb) à - 40 °C (- 40 °F)
- Conçu pour le soudage avec un gaz de protection 75 - 85 % d’argon/reste de CO2
- Performances de l'arc et aspect du cordon de qualité supérieure
- Conforme aux exigences de la norme AWS D1.8 sur la dérogation de lot sismique
